Hospital(Ann and Tony)

Ann: Well, that was easy. You're still stretched out across a long gap, though.

Ann puts baldrick down by the fox, braces herself against the wall and tries to pull herself over.

Ann: Alrighty... you get Baldrick off of your tail, and set him down on the other end alright...(7 9 7(1)), but slip and fall down into the basement as you try to pull yourself up(1 6 7). No worries, as your arms still seem to be stretched out, and you can get a better angle on the ledge from down here. Kinda dark though, and you hope you're not eaten by a grue during your climb.

And grips the edge, makes sure it's a good, firm grip and retracts her arms.

Ann: Ow... That didn't feel right. Your shoulders are quite sore from the attempt, and while you've thrown yourself up to the top of the ledge, that's gonna hurt in the morning.(1 bashing damage)

Exercise: +1 stamina.

Baldric meows happily, wondering if they can go on that ride again.

"OK, remind me not to do that again." Ann scoops up baldrick with her tail again and redraws the gun, then heads onward.

Ann: You head down the hall, which ends at a set of metal double doors. They're painted yellow, and have flowers and bunnies all over them, for whatever reason. Kinda jarring with the bloodstain on the wall next to them, but you don't think they had bloodshed and murder in mind when decorating the place.

Ann checks the fox is still with her and ok, then opens the door a little and peers through, pointing the gun.

Ann: The hallway inside is similarly yellow, and leads further inward, though to where you're not entirely sure. About 20 feet down the hallway, it bends about 30 degrees to your left. There are two doors about 10 feet in on either side, with large windows letting you see in, showing a waiting room on the left and a children's play area on the right. There are small placards by both doors, but you can't really see what's on them from here.

Ann goes to have a look at the windows and placards.

Right> Waiting area(please keep children attended at all times)

The windows seem to back up the claims. The left one looks into a small reception area, about 10x10, with an open door leading back to an area of doctor's offices. The right is a small area with childrens books, puzzles and toys. Someone appears to have left a large camping backpack in the right area, though both places appear void of blood and dead people.

Ann goes to look at the pack. She doesn't touch it yet.

Ann: The door to the play area slides open without any silly horror movie creaking. You're glad something in this place is cooperative.
Inside is an area about 10x20, though devoid of children playing like the sign said should be here. Hey, you recognize that book, that's one your mom made you learn to read on.
The pack is a blue and grey camping pack, and looks to be full of stuff. No signs of blood or dead babies stuffed in it, and as a whole, you're liking how much safer this place is compared to the hallways of people stuffed in the walls and mouth monsters trying to eat you.

Filled with dread at the seeming safety, Ann pokes the pack with her gun from as far away as she can reach.

Ann: There's a bit of clanking, as something metal seems to shift in the pack, but nothing jumps out at you or says hi. Midori is gazing at a copy of One Fish Two Fish nearby.

"You still ok?" Ann puts the gun away and opens the mysterypack.

Ann: [I think so... just thinking about how big the book is now. I guess I used to be this small too.]
Inside the pack is a collection of oddities. Empty baby bottle, blanket, pacifier, strange crystal sculpture, cracker snacks. Wait a second...
The sculpture looks like some kind of paperweight thing. It's a clear crystal, probably made to resemble glass, moving around in an intricate spiral around a gold painted metal spindle. There's some fancy arcane etching on it, but it's hard to tell what it is in the pack, too dark to make out.

Ann takes the crystal.

Ann: Hmm, bigger than it looked in the pack. Probably about 6 inches tall, 2 inches wide. Now that you're out in the light, you can see the etchings, but it's not in English. Maybe your books would tell you more about it.
[Huh, what's that? Wait, put it down!] Midori's cry comes a little late, as the crystal fills up with light, filling the room rapidly.

Owey, that wasn't very nice. Your eyes are still seeing stars, and are a bit blurry, presumably from when the light flashed about. Feels like you're on the floor.

Ann blinks a few times and looks around, panicking silently.

Ann: You're still in the kid's play room. Midori's lying on the ground next to you, paws over her eyes. Doesn't look like too much has changed. Oh sure, there's that creepy mysterious fog outside the window looking into the hallway, and there's a vague swirling light in the crystal thing, but at least you two are still in one piece.
[Owey... too bright...]

"I'm sorry. What was that?" Ann tries to get up and get the gun out again.

Ann: [Not sure. Strong, whatever it was. That was worse than camera flashes...] The gun is still there. You're really not sure what all that was about.

Ann takes the food and peeks out of the window.

Ann: Swirling blue fog, out in the hallway. Kinda thick, hard to see through. Looking around, you see some has seeped into this room, but it's avoiding a large area around the crystal thing on the floor for some reason.
