Hospital(Ann and Tony)

Ann: You let go of Elias, and hear him land somewhere with a clank. Seems like the portal went somewhere high up, and you were fighting gravity.
Thirty seconds pass, and no reply comes from the Elias aside from his landing noise. [So... um... what do we do now?]

"Honestly? I have no idea and I'm already regretting it. I say we give them a little while, then I take a peek if we don't hear anything. Stay close please."

Ann: You wait another minute, but hear only the drip of icky fluids from the shotgun riddled mouth monster. Well, and a creepy whispery voice floating through the halls, the direction unknown. [So cold... So dark...]

Ann speaks very quietly. "They get 60 more seconds." She gets ready to put a bullet hole in something.

Ann: You dislike waiting in a place like this. Far too creepy for your tastes.
Something wet lands on your right shoulder.

Ann jumps sideways and looks around, but does not cry out.

Ann: Oh... just blood from Elias' handiwork on the monster. Looks like some stayed up in the ceiling, and is starting to drip down.
[Who's there... help me... it hurts...]

Ann addresses the her only remaining ally. "I think we have to check that out. Any idea where it's from?" She's putting on a brave face.

Ann: [Where what's coming from? Stop creeping me out...] Another drip of mouth monster goo on the ground, though this time you make sure to be out of the way.

"I can hear a voice asking for help. In my head maybe. I don't know."

Ann: [I'm not liking this... lets find Tony and Mr. Elias fast...] She gets up, and hobbles over to you. Baldric mews from down the hall in his carrier.

Ann goes and gets baldrick, puts him down next to midori, says "Watch him." and looks in the monster as best she can without falling.

Ann: You're looking into a maternity ward waiting room. Kinda empty, with no inhabitants save a smashed baby stroller and abandoned bottle of milk. It's about a 10 foot by 10 foot room, and you're peering down through a ceiling fan. A nurse counter stands at the far end of the room, with two doors, one leading out of the area, and another leading into the maternity section.

Ann gets baldrick again, says to the fox "All right, it's just another room in the hospital, but it comes out in the ceiling. Think you can manage dropping down with me?"

Ann: [If the leg got fixed like I think it did, then yeah. We'll find out...] She seems a little worried at the thought of being wrong, and dropping from the ceiling with a broken leg. She hobbles into your arms as best as possible.

Ann makes the jump.

Ann: Oof. That was a little farther than you thought it would be. Still, you manage to keep Midori and Baldric in your arms without dropping them. Mom said those cheerleading courses were a waste of time, but you've proven her wrong.
This place is a little sad without any occupants. Still, probably better than mouth monsters waiting to suck you into blood vortexes.

Directions: Forward Left> Maternity section.
Forward> Counter, Nurse's station.
Forward Right> Exit Maternity waiting room.

The vortex winks out of existence a few seconds after you land, leaving the only light a flickering lamp from behind the counter. Pretty dark in here, though you can still see somewhat.

Ann sets the fox on the floor, checks she can walk ok and, assuming she can, exits the maternity waiting room.

Ann: The fox won't be able to run with the splint still on, but she can hobble on three feet with the best of them. You go to leave the room, but are stopped by the state of the hallway outside. There's a large hole in the floor, extending about 15 feet on either way from the exit door.
The hole empties down into what looks like an unlit basement, with utility pipes running along. One has sprung a leak, and is spewing forth what looks like raw sewage up into the air, though not high enough to reach your floor. There's a dead janitor down below, crushed by her cart when it fell. It's about a 10, 12 foot drop down.

"Follow me." Ann looks around for other routes out.

Ann: There's the entrance to the maternity ward, and an exit from the nurse's station, if you're willing to jump the counter. Looking out into the hall, it's only a 10 foot leap past the fallen section from that door, if you wanna risk it.
[Now the place is falling apart? I'm really not liking this, miss Ann...]

Ann smiles. "You don't need to call me miss." She look over the nurse's counter, and barring any horrors lurking behind, helps the fox up onto it and climbs over.

Ann: The nurse's station is thankfully devoid of dead nurses. However, for some reason, there are several ribs jammed into the open copier, and the screen has caved in, making a sort of bowl. A bright blue liquid floats inside, and seems to be giving off a cool, crisp vibe, somehow alleviating the oppressing nature of the hospital. A small blue crystal, maybe 2 by .5 by .5 inches long sits at the bottom of the liquid. [What's up there? Feels out of place...]

"Pretty blue crystal. Seems... good?"

Ann: [Wonder what it's doing here?] The liquid starts to glow slightly as you get closer, as if in response to seeing a beautiful young lady admiring it.
