Tony: Bright. Too bright. Oh wait, that's the sun. Looks like you had a good nap. The green hue is still around, though now with a sun to shine through it, it's much more noticeable. Midori is napping upside down in the passenger seat.

Tony sits up in his chair, and rubs the sleep from his eyes. He pulls up his backpack and searches through it for some food. He pulls out a can and sets in on the dash. He then pulls out the cigarret lighter from the car, and puts it on top of the can to heat it up.

Tony: You heat up a can of tomato soup. Midori hears your movement, and wakes up slowly. [Good morning...]

Tony: The bread is not canned, but it'll do. [Food sounds good, yes... What time is it?]

Action: Anyone can take action.

Tony looks at the radio, and checks the time. He then watches the can of soup and waits untill it seems warm enough to eat enjoyably. He then takes his knife and cuts open the top, soaking some bread in it and handing some to Midori. "We are parked outside a mall, chances are its already been looted pretty badly, but we may still find something in there." He concentrates on his meal for a bit, and then asks. "Any idea about that giant green crystal in the sky?"

Tony: She takes a nom, then crawls up on the dash to see what you're talking about. [No, I can't really tell from here, it's too far away...]

"well, if its alright with you, I dont think we want to get any closer to it." Tony finishes his breakfeast, with a strange twing of pleasing freedom at being on his own. "we are also going to want to see about getting a better car..." Finishing up his meal, Tony reloads his revolver, and places it in one pocket, then puts a Berretta in the other with his knife. He empties out his backpack in the back of the car, keeping his tools and ammo inside. "ready to go scavving?"

Tony: The green hue that crystal is giving the sun is rather creepy. However, it's nice and bright, and you can see the front of the mall clearly, along with a few details you missed last night:
There's a person stuffed in a nearby trashcan, at an angle that doesn't seem possible for those with non-broken spines.
There's a... thing close to the mall door. Like some kind of lizard with spines all along the tail. It appears to have eaten a shotgun to the face, however, and doesn't look alive.
Someone dropped a dollar bill! Score!

The sign above the door gives you a happy greeting. "Welcome to the Ann Arbor Heights mall. Please enjoy your stay."

Tony habitually takes the dollar, and then laughs a little at himself. However, he moves quietly towards the entrence of the mall, and enters.

Tony: The doors happily slide open, leading you into a large tiled shopping mall. You'd wager that the ceiling goes up a good 30 feet from here, though as you look around, it seems way too dark in here. Not that you can't see, but having come from the bright sunlight outside, you expected a bit more light.
There's a number of shops on your left and right, with the walkway spreading about 50 feet across. On your left is the entrance to a movie theater, while the right has a suit shop and glasses store. You note that the cashier of the theater is happily splayed out on his desk, with a red tinge to his hair.
Looking ahead, the path seems to split in a T about 150 feet ahead. There's a railing showing that the mall continues down a floor, and you see the vague makings of a skylight from here, though you can't actually see the glass from this vantage point. There's a plinth showing a map of the mall at the intersection, though it appears someone has smashed it down, leaving the map all over the floor.
Midori gets close to you, not liking the appearance of the place.

Tony reaches down and tries to give midori a reassuring pat. He then tries to walk quietly towards the railing to get a better look at the mall as a whole while wispering, "sense anything?"

Tony: [Nothing bad, no...] As you go further in, you note there's an odd smell pervading the place. You can't place it, but it smells... wet?
Over the railing, you can see the the bottom floor. There's an escalator to your left going down and up, although it's not running at the moment. There's a drop of about 20 feet to the lower floor, and a multitude of stores line the walls both up and down. The moon shines down on you from overhead, but doesn't provide much illumination. Still, your eyes seem to be doing well in the dark, and you can make out quite a bit, even with the lack of proper lighting.

Stores in the area:
Left: Large department store, looks like clothing and such.
Ahead Left: Shoes
Ahead: Cookie Cakes Emporium, looks looted.
Ahead Right: More Shoes

Tony: Something hungry has been through here, though you note that there appears to still be a good batch of cookie dough in the back. Perhaps you could make your own, if you have the luxury.
A customer appears to have been stuffed into the oven rather unceremoniously. You note that by the shape of his legs, he appears to have been halfway mutated into... something, though it's a bit too burnt to make out exactly what. Looks like the monster population is getting more diverse(more fun for you, of course).

Tony first grabs a handful of the dough, and gives half to midori to eat. After having his after breakfast snack. He searches the monster in the oven's pants for keys.

Tony: Yuck, needs more sugar. The burnt man doesn't appear to have anything in his pockets, though judging from how they're upturned, someone already got there.

Tony: As you get closer, you see the security doors have dropped on the department store. This has not stopped something from smashing a large hole through the side farthest from the entrance. Inside, it's much darker, due to the lack of a skylight. You can make out lots of clothing racks, though.

Tony slowly enters the department store, while trying not to wet himself. He looks for a set or two of a change of clothes for himself. and maybe he will get lucky and find some car keys.

Tony: It seems even darker in here now that you're actually inside. There's quite a lot of clothes to choose from, but this looks like a women's section, sadly. Ahead is a jewelry counter, or the glass and bent steel showing it used to be here. The path splits into left and right, while still heading deeper into the store.

Tony: Clothes, more clothes. You see the section you want a little deeper in, but there's no clear path there, you'll have to weave through the racks, or find another way around. [There's something... below? Seems asleep]
