Shepherd resists a face palm and distracts the smile fighting to get out by asking: "So do we go treasure hunting or just start heading straight there. I still have a grudge with the kobolds I would not mind settling if we went to find the caves."

"I say avoid the caves, at least till there's nothing easier available. I'd like to hunt treasure, but Jochen's right, there'll be monsters and stuff I'd get paid for fixing a problem than get lost in a big cave somewhere. Aren't the people who come back out with the treasure normally awesomer than us?"

Apple is pleased by her friend's strange antics, even if they are a bit loud. She roughly shoves her into a jacket pocket and announces that she's ready to leave when the others are.
