Hospital(Ann and Tony)

Ann: The crystal and the water are missing from the copier. Someone, or something, must have taken them.

"Aw, shit. It was there." Ann points.

Tony looks at the copier again, "yeah, I checked this thing out, it was empty when I got here."

"If you want crystals, I think the dead mother back there has the one that made the mist appear. She won't hurt you but I guess she could kill you by turning the clock back too far and she will take your free will. I mean, if you thought me messing with your mind before was bad, imagine having to destroy all your love for your own mother just to escape. And I feel... wrong. Like I'm still little inside."

Tony brushes away Ann's reply, "lets not bring that up again, alright? That monster probably isn't that little girl's mother anyways... at least, I hope not..." He looks around the first floor a tad unsure of what to do. "well, I suppose we find the old man now, right? where do you think he is?"

"No idea. Where did the portal come out when you went through it? I'm not sure it's always the same."

Tony walks towards the crater and looks down it, "somewhere on the fourth floor, very bloody room. If its okay with you, I would rather avoid that floor."

Tony: The hole empties down into what looks like an unlit basement, with utility pipes running along. One has sprung a leak, and is spewing forth what looks like raw sewage up into the air, though not high enough to reach your floor. There's a dead janitor down below, crushed by her cart when it fell. It's about a 10, 12 foot drop down.

"OK, it's different then. He could be anywhere."

Tony looks around the corner of the doorway down the halls. "well, I found a fire escape we could use to get to any of the floors, although I came here through a... uh... viewing room. maybe we should head there first?"

"I guess? What's a viewing room?"

Tony looks at Ann a bit confused. "You know, a viewing room. Where people watch other people work? I climbed down from one onto this floor.

"Oh right. I guess I thought you mean something weird. Fine, off we go. Why not?" Ann allows herself to be led there. "Why are we avoiding the fourth floor?"

Tony thinks back for a moment, and visably shivers. "Because thats a bad place to go." He picks up the baby Midori and shadowjumps down the hall, past the crater.

Tony: Midori seems to be held back when you defy physics, though she lands with a soft pitter patter on the floor as your hand fades into the wall.

Ann: Tony seems to be attempting to take Midori through the wall, into a shadowy part under the counter. Sadly, Midori does not share his ability to be incorporeal, and the squigglet plops on the floor in an adorable fashion as Tony fades into the painted plastic.

Tony pops his head out and looks at Midori, "oh, sorry... I thought... well shit." He walks back out of the shadows, and picks her back up. "looks like were gonna have to cross the old fashioned way."

Ann uses her ridiculous arms to help everyone across.

Ann: You're starting to get the hang of this. You do need to drop down into the basement for a second, but nothing that your stretchyarms can't pull you back out of. Thankfully, you've avoided a spot with sewage.
You're looking out into a hallway, with a turn left and right about 10 feet down. Unfortunately, there appears to be a mass of flesh and blood clogging up the hallway to the right, so you don't really know where it goes. There's an arm sticking out of the flesh mass, oddly in a waving gesture, though you doubt that was the intent of it's previous owner.
The hallway to the left has a pair of double doors, looking into a dark room. Presumably that's the "viewing room" Tony talked about.

Tony ingores the blocked wall and arm and continues into the double doors. "were going to have to go up a floor in here, but that shouldn't be too hard."

Ann: You're not too sure about his diagnosis. The viewing room is a semicircular area, about 50 feet in radius, with an operating table at the center and several lights hanging over it. There's a doctor's labcoat and skin lying by the doorway, and a rather large, inhuman looking skeleton crumpled in a heap by the table. It looks freshly smashed.
There's a long cavalcade of windows running around the top of the room, all with blinds down. Tony may have been able to hop through walls to get down here, but that's not an Ann kind of trick, not to mention Tony seems to want to go back up.

"If you say so. How?"

Tony looks up at the walls a bit and thinks. "well, I figure we can either just break a window and climb through, or build a ladder or something. Thats not too hard is it?"

"Sounds like it might be, Tony. It's a long way. How are we going to just build a ladder? Magic?"

Tony gives a half frown while he checks if the table in the floor can move. "you never stacked stuff on top of eachother to go through a window before?"

Tony: It's secured with bolts thicker than your hand. It's not coming out no matter what you do. Guess delicate procedures need delicate tables.

Ann: The room starts to get a bit bigger, looks like your embigenning magic is starting to wear off.
