Chapter 1: Sellendelline's Secret

Talon- Just as the light becomes painful, you instinctively look away. You feel an intense warmth on your back as you duck down.

Fynn- You are able to cover your eyes just in time. The worst of it seems to have gone over your head.

The door swings silently inward and shadowy figures can be seen moving in the darkness beyond. There are pale medium humanoids rushing towards you and what seems to be a flying man in a robe black robe, bearing down on Theorid with a silver sword.

You are in a 10' by 10' area wit hthe exploding door at one end and the open archway at the other. Theorid is standing by the door with a badguy about to stab him. Talon 5' behind him and Fynn is 5' behind her. Pharra and Secret are just outside the archway at the other end, about 15' away from the enemies. Pale figures are crowded in the darkness on the other side of the doorway, also within reach of the cleric.

The air fills with pained moans and eerie whispers. You feel an intense chill. Secret and Pharra are both shouting. You can hear weeping and you feel damp under your clothes. You feel cold metal against your flesh, then, disturbingly, inside it. That's not a nice feeling, but it's not agonisingly painful either. Almost as though it's passing through you without cutting you.
Then you feel cold hands on your arms and face, sapping your strength. 23 damage. Dazed and 5 ongoing psy damage. Save ends both.

The pale people writhe and make whispering noises, but don't seem all that effected by your spell. Ice forms on the black robed attacker's sword and body, and it shakes violently, but it makes no sound. From deep in the darkness, you hear the agonised moaning of at least two creatures you can't see.

The unseen creatures slide into view to stand behind the pale crowd. They look like teenage boys, but you can see straight through them and their faces seem to be melting as you watch. Both Raise their hands and moan loudly, their mouths distorting to huge proportions.

Fynn's snout droops. His skin starts to run like wet paint and one of his eyes pops out of its socket and dangles from his face. Drool runs from his mouth, pooling at his feet.
Just as the wailing seems to have stopped, it intensifies. Fynn's arms grow long as his shoulders sag. His skin hangs off him in folds, his belly is hanging near the floor and his teeth begin to fall out, making little tink tink noises as they bounce away.

Pharramurrinion is yelling nonsense. Somewhere, Secret's voice is saying "What? What the hell?"

Fynn-
You're in no pain. You just feel wet and numb. You can feel your guts squirming inside you though. That's not a great feeling. Your tail has stopped working and you can taste fish. If only your brain would stay the same shape for a moment, then you'd remember why this is happening and it would all be fine. Everything looks kind of interesting with one eye falling out. They other seems like it's about to go any moment, so that might be fun.

33 damage, dazed and ongoing 5 psy. Save ends both.

Talon-
You feel wet. Unfortunately that seems to be because water is coming out of your ears. You can hear your own voice muttering something. Sounds like "Mould you and knead you and sculpt you and mould you and knead you and..."

Dazed and ongoing 5 Psy damage. Save ends both.

The Dark figure's sword passes right through Theorid and out the other side, and it keeps coming. It flys towards you both, cloak billowing. The sword goes through Fynn's legs, but the he doesn't bleed, he just drops to one knee. The figure goes straight through Talon's bear and out the other side, then slashes at Talon herself, again, not cutting her. She convulses horribly. Secret screams pitifuly as the sword impales her stomach and Pharra roars in anger as it goes through his arm.

The dark figure is now out in the rain, a good 10' beyond the archway.

Fynn-
The metal feels cold and seems to sap the strength from your muscles. 11 damage (total of 44 this round)

Talon-
You feel your spirit's pain and then your own. Your muscles feel shaky. 10 damage

3 of the pale figues move forward. Two reach through the door and strike at Theorid. One floats forward and claws Talon's back and belly.

Talon-
It feels like cold hands touching your skin and sapping your strength. 7 damage. (total of 17 damage this round)

Secret runs away into wind and rain, taking a stab in the back as she does. She looks like she's in a very bad state in the brief moment before she vanishes from view.

Pharra tears into the robed monster with his bare hands, leaving his claws running with liquid darkness.
