Rules of Play

Simple layout of rules for the game:

Rolling - You will only make rolls if you are doing an action in your post. For example, if you are in combat, and want to attack a person, you would roll for that, while things like initiative would be rolled by the DM, as it's not happening on your post. This is to help speed things along, so we're not waiting on a person to post a roll. When posting your rolls, please give the totals on your dice as well, so penalties and bonuses can be factored.
Example Roll: You roll 4 dice, and get (8 2 4 10/5), for a total of 2 successes. If there was a penalty of -2 on the roll, the DM will take off the last two dice, leaving you with (8 2) and 1 success. If there was a bonus on the roll, the DM will recount the dice, starting from your first roll. Thus, if there was a bonus of +2 on the roll, you would have (8 2 4 10/5 8 2), for a total of 3 successes.

Private Info - If a player is given information that others are not privy to, it will be noted in spoiler text, and other players are not to read it. Should this be abused, we will move to giving private information over PMs.
