Am I the only one thirsting for an Evil campaign recently?

please feel free to drop ideas for Evil PCs here, and possibilitys for things you would see in an Evil PC game

for example, every evil game, needs a goodly hero. A cheif of police with a beef against the players, or maybe a family member of a victim out for revenge. They also need places in the underworld to hide and do business. there are plenty of nefarious people willing to sell simply for the promise of cold cash.

On a more serious note, I'd like to see a game in which magical creatures have great difficulty relating to humans and animals and are inherently nastier than them, like vampires are in standard world of darkness. I'd also like to try a game with no masquerade and a game with a different tech level, probably of the sort that has punk in it's name. Preferably all at the same time. An evil game with those in it would be nifty.

OK, I have a character concept now. A dragon, first name Viktor. Frag's been talking about running something for characters who aren't yet awakened, but this is for a born dragon, so I don't know how compatible that would be.

He's very, very rich (resources***** or maybe **** if I can't afford that), owns a big hotel/casino (the main source of his income), a large estate and a cult called The Illuminated Church of The Serpent King, which has official recognition as religion in the united states.
The estate contains an opulent home, good hunting territory, a small but up-market organic free range farm, enough security to ensure absolute privacy (in theory) and the church H.Q.
His church is small and far from powerful. It exists to keep some of those pesky taxes away, get him worship for his dragon sized ego, let him control peoples lives, surround him with pretty faces and provide a steady stream of young virgins for him to *ahem* "devour". He considers his cultists to be his property, but he's telling the truth when he says he loves them. Hurt them at your peril. The high levels of the cult are pretty much a family, albeit a very strange one.
He's a recluse, but he's completely open about being a dragon. Indeed, that's the whole point in his cult. Only members are allowed to see him in person. His "human form" is really some other guy who represents him when he really has to appear in public. If he were another party member, that could be really awesome.
Victor is an evil, power mad sadist and proud of it. He's willing to cheat and do whatever else it takes to get what he thinks he deserves, which is everything that takes his fancy. He dislikes hurting innocent people, but the more he hurts bad people (ie people he doesn't like) the better. That said, he prefers the safety of doing things legally when possible.

EDIT: Now going to play someone else more suited to the setting frag has cooked up.

And I suppose I should spew on that, yes.

So, the thoughts have come forth, speaking to me and demanding I create this silly setting of such. The game takes place in 2043, a nice hop into the future, where mankind is finally getting back to where they were before an outbreak of bioterrorism left a large portion of the world dead from a nanomachine based plague 34 years prior. The plague ravaged its hosts, attempting to reconfigure them into new forms, and in the vast majority of cases, failing at its goal and simply causing the target to melt away. The nightmare fuel has long passed, though society has been more concerned with getting infrastructure and markets back up, and thus is a hodgepodge of the new and old. With cybertech coming back into production, plague survivors turned into strange creatures with stranger abilities roaming the streets, and lawlessness still not under control, the world clearly needs some heroes to show it the way. But, of course, it's so much more fun to be the bad guys...

Basic rule throwdown of doom: Yes, the game is based around the characters dealing out injustice and illegal fun. Thus, it's probably a bad idea to play a goody-two-shoes hero. Likewise, axe crazy is probably bad too, simply because of the big rule #1: The party must be able to get along, or at least, not be constantly scheming to knife each other.
#2: Got a nifty race idea that isn't in the ruleset thing? Go ahead and ask, I'll see what we can do.
#3: All characters will use humanity rather than morality or sync(mainly because morality would drop like a rock). You have the option to drop a point of humanity at character creation, in exchange for a bit more power.
#4: As usual, come up with strong ideas for your character, not just a block of stats.

The game will be played as a play-by-post, simply because there's already a live game going on, and we don't need to fight for time on that. Character introductions will be done in chat as a solo session, covering the character's awakening/infection and the mandatory setting infodump shortly afterwords.
