Xaer's God

Tristan walks over to the side of the bed, and thinks back to what Walsh said at the cheap food joint. After a second of consideration, he decides to come out of his lay-low for a bit and test something out. He places his hand on her forehead and slides a bit of mana into her.

She doesn't wake up, nor does she explode.

Tristan sighs while scratching the back of his neck, a tad dissapointed at the lack of any noticeable result. He turns around and leaves the room, a new goal in mind. Once in the hallway, he looks for a mildly-attractive female nurse that isn't too busy.

There's a lady at a counter down the hall, who doesn't look horribly obese. "Yes, can I help you, sir?"

Tristan leans over the counter and tries to put on his 'im interested in you' face. "I hope so. I'm looking for my friend Steven Wright, but maybe he can wait..." He continues to try to flirt with the woman, occasionally asking for the location of his 'friend.'

She seems agreeable. The ICU nurse might not let you in to see him, but she'll go try and make a special exception, just for you. Dance!

Tristan smiles and gives a wink as he walks off toward the ICU.

2nd floor. Cheerful place, with a nurse watching every two rooms, through a convoluted window system. The one on the hunter's room is a wrinkly red/grey haired monstrosity, who doesn't appear to be in much of a good mood. "Whadoo you want?"

Tristan tries to be civil, "I'm here for Mr.Wright."

"Oh yeah, Stacie called about someone like that. Sorry, but he's asleep right now, and will be going into surgery in a few hours. You might wanna try back in a couple of days."

Tristan continues to insist, "You don't entirely understand. I need to make sure it IS in fact Mr.Wright. Just let me in the room for a moment, I won't disturb whoever is asleep in there."

"We've checked his credentials, and asked his family. That's Mr. Wright in there. I'm sorry, but we don't make exceptions."

Tristan crosses his arms and tries to put on a decent business-like tone, "look, you can either let me in the room to check with my own eyes, or you will have to turn over all of your 'proof' that this is the Mr.Wright and not another identity theif. If you don't I can't authorize payment for his medical bills."

She goes to print out their copy of his ID, and will vouch that it's his face on there. Blast, she took your second suggestion to heart.

Tristan takes the copy of the ID and checks if it IS in fact the guy's face. "Fine, but I insist that we be notified as soon as he wakes up, to log his statement," He gives the nurse the cellphone number Terth gave him. If the photo IS the hunter, he pockets it and reads its information while walking back to his car.

"Sure, I just need a phone number. And sir, I do need that back, we're not allowed to give out patient information."
It's him, at least.

Tristan takes the copy out of his pocket, giving the address another once over, and then hands it back. "whats the matter, your copyer broken?" He walks off thinking of the address untill he memorizes it. Once at his car, he drives by the address.

"State law, sir. Nothing I can do about it."
The place is on the west side of town. Small house, 1 story. Looks kinda cozy, if it weren't just the wrong shade of brown.

Tristan keeps the place in mind and decides to return back to his place for a change of attire.

3PM, Lecroix Summer Residence. You spy with your little flaming eye, a blue SUV two houses up. You remember this brand of SUV, if only because it has one sliding door which locks when closing, something the gang dubbed the 'pedovan'. Regardless, it's not one of your neighbors. Perhaps a relative coming to visit? Not like you keep up with their shit, much as your parents try to "get you involved with society".

Tristan narrows his eyes, trying to unsuspiciously see who and if there is a driver. He steps out of the car and walks toward his pad, on the alert for house-breakers and possibly hunters.

It's empty, and it doesn't seem like anyone else is home. Silly godfighting, it's made you all paranoid and shit.

Tristan changes into a suit, and heads back to his car. While walking back to the car he takes another look at the pedo-van.

It's gone when you come back. You look snazzy.

Tristan returns to his car and sticks his key in the ignition. He drives back to the hunter's home, working out his story to start asking questions.
